Pets can ride to VICSD in style with our convenient, door-to-door Pet Taxi option. Pet owners drop their pet off at your hospital, and one of our trained Personal Pet Chauffeurs will pick up the pet and bring them to VICSD for their outpatient imaging appointment.
How Do I Book a Pet Taxi Appointment?
Simple. When you book a Fast-Track appointment with one of our client services representatives, tell them you would like to use the Pet Taxi. From there you will receive further instructions on taking advantage of this convenient service.

Are All Pets Eligible for Pet Taxi?
The Pet Taxi is reserved only for stable patients. The service is not available for same-day cardiac ultrasound appointments (unless pre-approved by one of our in-house radiologists) or return trips for procedures that require sedation or anesthesia.
What are the Advantages of Using the Pet Taxi?
Most often, Pet Taxi appointments are made the same day, or the morning after a pet owner brings their animal to their regular veterinarian. We can arrange to have the Pet Taxi pick up the pet the same day that their veterinarian recommends an ultrasound to the pet owner. The pet is already at their regular veterinarian, and the pet owner can go about their day while we take care of transporting the pet. At the end of the day they can pick up their pet from their regular veterinarian.
Pet Taxi appointments can also be made well in advance. This service is especially convenient for owners who live and/or work far from our clinic and do not have time to make the drive. From the South Bay to Temecula, we are here to make the trip for them!
We always receive wonderful feedback from veterinarians about our Pet Taxi service. Pet owners love the convenience, and the pets love the roomy accommodations, comfy bedding, and temperature-controlled cabin space.
Is the Pet Taxi Safe?
Absolutely. Our Personal Pet Chauffeurs have extensive animal handling experience and excellent driving records. Our Personal Pet Chauffeurs share something in common with all the staff at VICSD – we are also pet owners. We treat every animal as we would want our own animals treated. Individualized attention is given to each and every pet to ensure a safe and secure trip.
While we do not anticipate any problems during transport, our Pet Taxi service does carry insurance covering up to $50,000 in veterinary expenses per animal.
