Last year, we treated an unforgettably affectionate cat named Moorea for hyperthyroidism and we are thrilled to hear that she is not only doing well but has also managed to capture the attention and hearts of the California Veterinary Medicine Association (CVMA). Moorea’s owners ecstatically informed us today that she has just been inducted into the CVMA Animal Hall of Fame for her role in “Team Calico,” where she is taken to various nursing homes and hospices and provides comfort to residents.

With this fame comes awards ceremonies and more public appearances, and we sincerely hope she’s not too famous to continue to stop by our clinic and remember the little people!
